Devops and Drupal, the Survey, the Results

I've just finished presenting the results of our Drupal and Devops survey at the Belgian Drupal User Group meetup at our office

and I've uploaded the slides to slideshare for the rest of the world to cry read.

Honestly I was hoping for the audience to prove me wrong and I was expecting all of them to claim they were doing automated and repeatable deployments.

But there's hope...

#2 patcon : Hey Kris, Really excited that

Hey Kris,

Really excited that you're getting the conversation going. Sounds like there'll be a good few people getting together for config management and/or deployment and/or continuous delivery-related BOF's in Denver. Any chance you're able to make it there? (or to San Fran for Devopsdays or Velocity for that matter)

Also, are you able to talk about you deploy practices at Inuit in any detail? I'm really interested to hear how your guys do it and how you've managed to work drupal into your way of operating.

Cheers!

#4 Reinhard : Thanks a lot for collecting

Thanks a lot for collecting and presenting these data! Actually the picture doesn't look too bad with lots of people already using an "everything in code" strategy. I'm really looking forward to the devops track at DrupalCon Munich. Can you please make sure that there are sessions on continuous integration and automated testing? That seems to be the area with the most work still to be done, judging from your data.
